GoalStriving
GoalStriving is a community project building personal wikis where people can document, reflect on, and share their journey toward meaningful goals. Each participant can have a private or shared wiki space on the goalstriving.org platform, supported by open tools and thoughtful design.
We are forming a non-profit organization to steward this work in the public interest. Whether you want to explore the idea, contribute feedback, volunteer your skills, or help guide the organization, we welcome you to get involved.
About the project
GoalStriving combines the permanence and structure of a wiki with the personal focus of a journal. Wikis can support individual reflection, family or team collaboration, and community knowledge sharing around goals that matter.
The platform is built on MediaWiki with modern sign-in, per-wiki access control, and tools for thoughtful discussion. We are actively refining the technical design, project identity, and governance model as we grow.
For more about the platform itself, visit wiki.goalstriving.org, which contains details about this wiki project and planned future enhancements.
Project Name
We are currently using the name GoalStriving.org, but we are considering a name change that emphasizes the platform as a place for taking notes related to learning, as well as achieving goals.
We want to encourage students in higher education to use the platform for taking notes in class, taking notes on readings, and working on assignments, projects, and papers. We are open to name suggestions.
